The restaurant
The restaurant is nestled in the hamlet of Les Planards in the Savoleyres ski area.
La Marmotte was founded in 1976 and renovated in 1988. The atmosphere is one of stone and old wood. Its soapstone floor and magnificent fireplace give it a special charm.
The menu pays tribute to local produce:
Wood-fired raclette, fondues and röstis served in an authentic setting, you'll discover a typically Valaisan atmosphere.
Change creates pleasure, so every two weeks we offer new suggestions.
Our restaurant seats 100 guests in 4 charming dining rooms:
- The Verbier room offers a magnificent view of the Verbier resort and the Combins massif.
- The middle room, with its splendid soapstone, is ideal for larger tables.
- The fireplace room is ideal for groups of up to 30 people.
- The guides' room, perfect for 15 people or so, is equipped for projection and suitable for business meetings.
